Group Exercise (GroupEx) is a great way to get your heart pumping and a full body workout. Classes are scheduled throughout the day, so picking a class that is convenient and fits your schedule is easy to do. Classes are available for the beginner to the advanced athlete. Group exercise classes are FREE to members. |

Cardiovascular Classes:
Step: This workout will improve your cardio fitness by keeping your heart rate consistently elevated with easy to follow choreography mixed with optional power intervals using the step. This is a great class for all fitness levels, and those looking for an effective workout. Classes may include Xpress step (30 min) and Interval step.
ZUMBA®: ZUMBA® fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away! We want you to work out, to love working out and to get hooked! You will achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!
ZUMBA GOLD®: Zumba® Gold classes are specifically designed to bring the exciting international rhythms of the original Zumba to the active older adult, the beginner participant, and the participant who may require special care due to minor physical limitations.
Water Aerobics: This self–paced class is suitable for all fitness levels and ages. The resistance of the water gives an excellent workout combining strength, flexibility and aerobic power. A great alternative to land exercise for people who like to get in the water as well as those who need to cross train. Resistance equipment is provided.
Strength & Conditioning Classes:
BODYPUMP™: The original barbell class. Designed for all fitness levels, BODYPUMP™ delivers real results, real fast. This structured based workout uses barbells with adjustable weights to work every major muscle group in the body. With motivating music and awesome instructors, BODYPUMP™ strengthens, tones and defines the body as nothing else can.
BODYCOMBAT™: The empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. All levels welcome.
BODYFLOW™: The yoga, tai chi and pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength, leaving you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.
Active Older Adult Classes:
SilverSneakers Muscular, Strength and Range of Motion (MSROM)®: Have fun and move to music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand weights, elastic tubing with handles, a ball offered for resistance, and chair for seated and/or standing support.
SilverSneakers CardioCircuit®: Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
SilverSneakers YogaStretch®: YogaStretch® will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
SilverSneakers SilverSplash®: Low intensity - shallow water exercise. For a soothing exercise, try this water exercise class. You don't need to know how to swim. A Silver Sneakers kickboard is used to increase strength, for stability and balance in the water. Members with arthritis or other joint conditions will find the water comforting and the non impact workout invigorating.
