CFA Retreat Staff

If you're looking for a fun, flexible weekend job, CFA's the place! Retreat staff are primarily responsible for running activities on camp for our weekend groups which are a mix of children and adults. Some of the activities are: canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, team building games, high ropes, horseback riding, swimming (pool), swimming (river), rope swing into the river, river slide, outdoor education, and more. If you don't have experience but have interest in several of these activities, we will train you!

Although we do have some weekday groups, our typical weekend schedule includes a Friday night staff meeting (at 9pm), teaching activities and/or helping in the kitchen or camp store all day Saturday and Sunday until noon. Included in your weekend is cabin lodging for Friday and Saturday nights, all 3 meals Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.

As a CFA retreat staff, you are not required to work every weekend. We do ask that you work at least once a month. Pay rates will be based off of your experience, certifications (lifeguarding, challenge course, first aid, CPR, etc.) and expertise.
