Camper Information
The First Day
During the first few hours of Camp, each camper is greeted by an enthusiastic group of counselors and meets his or her cabin counselors. Then each camper moves into his or her cabin, visits the nurse, and receives an aquatic check to determine swimming ability. During the visit with the nurse, each camper receives a health screening and deposits all medications with the nurse, if not already done so at registration.
Cabin Groups
Campers are assigned by age to cabin groups. We will attempt to place campers together in the same cabin if this is requested, and if the campers are the same age. Friends of the same age normally may choose to live together, but we do prefer to divide large groups of friends among several counselors. Camp reserves the discretion in placing all campers.
Behavior
Camper behavior is expected to be such that it supports another person's right to full enjoyment and fulfillment in Camp. Abusive language WILL NOT be tolerated, nor will any physical violence. Campers are expected to respect the property of others and Camp.
Closing Day
Pick up time FOR ALL CAMPERS is between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the last day (Saturday) of the session. Closing Ceremonies are held during this time.
Staff will be given assigned duties during the pick up times. Our main focus will be to serve as camp hosts talking with your camper’s families and showing them around camp.
