DR Semmes YMCA

The D.R. Semmes YMCA is one of 9 branches in the YMCA of Greater San Antonio Association. Founded in 1876, the YMCA has had a presence in the downtown area, and maintained its current location since 1971.

Besides being a full service health and wellness facility in the heart of Corporate America, the D.R. Semmes YMCA provides specialty programming for everyone in our community. The D.R Semmes YMCA is an organization that fosters the growth and development of a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Methodist Healthcare is a proud partner of the YMCA of Greater San Antonio. Each month, Methodist provides a variety of seminars and events at YMCA facilities. The YMCA is excited to announce it is partnering with the American Diabetes Association!  Because physical activity plays a vital role in the maintenance and prevention of diabetes, the YMCA is waiving our $99 joining fee for persons being diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes!
