Let's Move! Outside
Reversing the growing disconnect between youth and the outdoors, the YMCA has joined forces with the Department of the Interior, with support from American Express, to grow First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! Outside initative.
Our partnership and programming advances the goals of connecting youth and families with nature and public lands in their community. All to support the four pillars of outdoor activities: Play, Learn, Serve and Work.
Youth and families in San Antonio will learn new skills, engage with others and develop dedication to the great outdoors through service projects, recreation and environmental education. By offering consistent access to these public lands, Let’s Move! Outside is helping to inspire and foster nature lovers for life.
