The YMCA of Greater San Antonio is a non-profit, health and human services organization committed to helping people reach their full potential in spirit, mind, and body.
The Mays Family YMCA is here to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes. OPEN DOORS is a scholarship program that is designed to fit each individual's financial situation.
The funds available for OPEN DOORS are made possible through the generosity of our member and donors in the Y-Partners Annual Fundraising Campaign, as well as United Way, City of San Antonio and other funders.
*Documentation Required at Application Time*
1. One month of current pay stubs for all working adults in household or last year's tax return with schedules if self-employed. (Not the W-2)
2. Proof of residency in the form of a valid state ID/drivers license, electric bill, water bill or lease agreement only!
3. Proof of government funding. (housing/social security,etc.)
4. Proof of child support payments.
5. Proof of all other income (letter or check for workers compensation/unemployment, etc.)
6. School schedule (Part-time and Full-time students)

TO PROCESS YOUR APPLICAITON, THE MAYS FAMILY YMCA WILL NEED ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION LISTED ABOVE. IF ALL INFORMATION REQUESTED IS NOT RECEIVED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION, YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.**
