The YMCA of Greater San Antonio
is firmly committed to providing a quality program
and a safe environment for each child. As a nonprofit
association, we are acutely sensitive to maximizing
resources
in order to provide the best possible program
for the lowest cost to our members.
Many times working families
need help in paying for childcare and other program
services. The YMCA's annual fundraising campaign
is geared to provide scholarship dollars for families
in need. Each family is asked to complete a scholarship
application which is then evaluated and awarded
financial assistance.
Please remember, our financial assistance is limited.
In order to qualify, please submit:
- One month of current pay stubs for all working adults in your household
- Last year's tax return with all schedules
- Proof of Government funding (food stamps/housing/social security, etc.)
- Proof of Child Support payments
- Proof of all other income (letter or check for workers compensation/unemployment, etc.)
- School schedule (if in school)
- Proof of residency in the form of an electric bill, water bill or lease agreement only)
