Group Exercise Classes


Group Exercise (GroupEx) is a great way to get your heart pumping and a full body workout. Classes are scheduled throughout the day, so picking a class that is convenient and fits your schedule is easy to do. Classes are available for the beginner to the advanced athlete. Group exercise classes are FREE to members.

Group Exercise Class Descriptions:

Difficulty levels have been assigned to all classes.  Class levels are: 1=Beginner, 2=Intermediate, 3=Advanced

Cardiovascular Classes:

45 Min Step Combo: This traditional step class is designed to give exercisers of all levels an all around awesome fat burning experience! Levels 1-3

BODYCOMBAT™ -  An empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed.  This energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.  You strike, punch, kick, and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

Cardio Circuit: This class includes a cardio workout on the treadmill and weight equipment; changing speeds with max

Dance Combo: An hour of Latin dance-inspired cardio mixed with strength intervals.  Your heart rate will be challenged along with major muscle groups.  Let the music take you away while you blast fat and burn calories! Levels 1-3

Group Cycling: This group indoor cycling format offers a fun and motivating workout for those familiar with cardiovascular exercise.  It stimulates an ‘all terrain’ bike ride that will challenge both your cardiovascular and muscular endurance.  This class is at your own pace and you will need to bring a towel and a water. Levels 1-3

High Intensity Interval Training: This 30 minute class raises your metabolism with hybrid movements using weights, as well as your own body weight, while integrating periods of rest.  Change your metabolism and your body will follow.

Kickboxing: Increase stamina, flexibility, and strength while listening to your favorite dance mixes. This class combines elements of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to provide and overall physical conditioning and toning. Levels 1-3

Step Combo: This workout will improve your cardio fitness by keeping your heart rate consistently elevated with easy to follow choreography mixed with optional power intervals using the step.  This is a great class for all fitness levels, and those looking for an effective workout. Levels 1-3

ZUMBA®: ZUMBA® fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create dynamic fitness program that will blow you away!  We want you to work out, to love working out and to get hooked!  You will achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body-energizing awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! Levels 1-3

Strength & Conditioning Classes:

15 Min Abs: Need to get a quick ab workout in?  This class is designed to help sculpt your abs and lower back in a short amount of time of 15 minutes.  Be prepared to work hard using a variety of equipment and moves. Levels 1-3

Boot Camp: A high energy-fast paced workout, which incorporates weights with high and low impact aerobics that will give you a fat-burning/toning workout for all levels.  Bring a towel, water and your enthusiasm! Levels 2-3

BODYPUMP™: The original barbell class.  Designed for all fitness levels, BODYPUMP™ delivers real results, real fast.  This structured based workout uses barbells with adjustable weights to work every major muscle group in the body.  With motivating music, awesome instructors, BODYPUMP™ strengthens, tones and defines the body as nothing else can. Levels 2-3

Yoga: A fully body and breath aerobic workout designed to increase strength and flexibility. Interested in calming your nervous system?  This class is for you! Levels 1-3

Active Older Adult Classes:

SilverSneakers CardioCircuit®: Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises. Levels 1-3

SilverSneakers YogaStretch®: YogaStretch® will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Levels 1-3
