YMCA Camp Flaming Arrow

Overnight Camp Schedule, Activities, & Clubs

Our activities are tools to develop our core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Faith.

These activities include: indoor climbing walls, hiking, nature studies, archery, canoeing, arts and crafts, horseback riding, rope swing, river slide, field sports, river swims, swimming pool, high ropes course, low ropes course, basketball, sand volleyball, GaGa, tether ball, campfires, songs and skits.

Activities are led by trained staff, who are taught to demonstrate and encourage our core values and strengthen relationships. All water activities are led by YMCA Certified Lifeguards and trained helper staff, horseback riding is led by our CHA certified Equestrian Director, and the high ropes course is led by our High Ropes certified staff.

  • These schedules are all EXAMPLES— staff create an updated schedule for each week that takes into account camper numbers, staff assignments, and other considerations.
  • The highlighted areas ("orange-ish" color) are when ALL of camp comes together. These are great chances for siblings/friends to see each other who might not be in the same cabin.
  • Schedules hang in cabins for campers to reference throughout the week.
  • Clubs & Teen choices may slightly vary from week-to-week.
  • Cabins are assigned to duties around camp daily.
  • Each day we celebrate a different Core Value.

Campers will select their choice of clubs on their first night at camp. This allows them to learn more information about each of our club offerings and sign up with new friends, if they are so inclined. The exception to this is Saddle Club, which requires an additional fee.
