Educational Enrichment and Homework Assistance

Each day the teens receive an hour of homework assistance in the core TEKS subjects. Through hands on curriculum activities and assistance from the staff, the teens are able to explore the subjects below.

Science * Technology * Language Arts & Reading * Social Studies * Math

Club Time

As part of the program, a club time is offered.  The club activity time is determined through interest surveys completed by the students. We want attract them into the program by offering clubs that interest them.  The hook is the club time, however they receive much more than a cool activity time.  They are learning about team building, communication skills and much - much more. Each club time is an extension of the academic hour by incorporating TEKS objectives and as well as character development and adventure in peacemaking curriculum. Some of the clubs are listed below

Service Learning Projects

Every six weeks the teens dedicate their time and effort into giving back to the community. Since the teens are able to select a project of their choice, they become invested in the project. Ultimately, the mission of the service learning projects is to help build pride and character.
