YMCA MEMBERS UNITING TO SERVE

Charity4Charity is a YMCA of Greater San Antonio initiative that gives back to nonprofit organizations while strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. 

For the next year, the Y will be supporting four local charities—coming together to build a stronger community. At the Y, we create opportunities for everyone to learn, grow and thrive, regardless of their gender, income or background. We bring communities closer together and build a sense of belonging. At the Y, social responsibility means giving back and providing support to our neighbors. Our work with these four organizations will entail identifying their most prevalent need and fulfilling it.

Charity4Charity is one of the many opportunities that the Y provides to give back and support neighbors. But we can’t do it alone. We could use someone like you! Therefore, we are inviting YMCA members and staff to help us identify the fourth and final partner organization that we can support as part of our mission. 

The Top 5 charities to get the most votes will be invited to submit videos showcasing their organization and their work in the community.
The video contest winner will be chosen by the two-part scoring system:
